International sea shipments by groupage service (LCL)
We may offer to our customers LCL service (Less than Container Load) or groupage sea freight service. This service is used when you need to ship goods that do not justify using a full container, for example, when you only need to ship two or three pallets. In this case, we collect the goods from any region in Italy and deliver the goods to our terminal in Milan, where they are stowed in a container along with other shippers' goods. We provide for export customs operations and then for transporting the container to Genoa, Hamburg, or Rotterdam port; then the container is loaded onto the vessel and shipped to the port of destination. Our LCL export service has weekly, ten-day, or fortnightly departures depending on the port of arrival.
We also provide the same import service with the assistance of our agents in main ports around the world.
International sea shipments of full containers (FCL) 20' and 40' box, high cube, open top
If our customer requests a full container load (FCL), we will deliver the empty container directly to the loading place by truck. Once loading is complete, our designated driver will transport the full container to the nearest port of loading, where export customs procedures will be completed, the container will be loaded onto the vessel and then shipped to the port of destination.
We can do loading operations of full container from the following Italian ports: Ancona, Bari, Catania, Civitavecchia, Genoa, La Spezia, Livorno, Naples, Palermo, Ravenna, Reggio Calabria, Savona, Salerno, Venice, Taranto, and Trieste.
Vessels departures from the above ports are weekly, ten-day, or fortnightly, depending on the port of destination.
We also provide the same service for import thanks to the collaboration of other forwarders with whom we have been working for years and who are present in the major ports around the world.
